As he long as she wasn't using a computer program to control all the characters at once, it's not against the rules. Having multiple clients open and switching between them is perfectly legal.

He doesn't switch between clients, he played one character, and another just followed him and repeat actions (attack, etc...). Look chat window in 3rd screenshot.

He was probably using the 4144 patch, follow and imitation =) i do it with my characters all the time. its legal ^_^

Currently there is no rule against character automation as long as you are at the keyboard and you are able to answer a GM who is talking to any one of your characters.
