Something is wrong here, EVERYONE that I talked to voted yes. It seems the numbers exploded clumped. One hour he has 5 no's, the next he has 18, next 30, 38.
It does seem like there is some number playing here. There will be family votes here. But this does not seem right. He gets to 60 votes then everyone starts to vote no. It does seem rigged.
I ask for an official vote count. Looking at ip addresses and email address associated with them. I just can not find anyone that has voted against him. It seems someone is abusing the system.
Please do a vote count.

Forum rules
- Each member of the community can make a topic (poll) suggesting another person for a GM. You can't make a poll for yourself.
- One topic per person, any duplicates will be removed and votes will be lost.
- Each poll has to be done according to the schema (yes has to be first option and no the second):
"Do you agree for person X to become a GM?"
"Yes."
"No."
You are supposed to allow only one option per user and allow revoting.
You are supposed to pick "run for 0 days". - A person suggested has to collect at least 45 votes (or more) for yes, with minimum 75% for yes and maximum 25% for no (3:1 ratio).
- A person suggested may request closing of the topic.
- Only posts containing valid pros and cons are allowed in the threads, discussions however are not allowed. For discussions about particular case use Player Talk forums.
- If a person collects the required votes, assuming there are free positions and no objections are raised, they'll be granted "Junior GM" rights for a certain period.
- After training and approval from the senior GMs, the team will formally grant full GM rights and team membership.
- If many persons will gain required voices, voice count will matter.
- The amount of GMs to pick in certain time line will be determined by the TMW Team (Admins, GMs and developers).
- Persons rejected due lack of free positions will be put on hold till any position becomes available (according to vote count).
- If more than a year passes, a new poll must be open to ensure the community is still fine with the nomination.
- Usual GM choosing criteria and guidelines still apply, persons not meeting those criteria will be rejected and will have their thread closed.
- Sockpuppeting will be detected and all accounts, including the master's one will be banned forever without warning. There is one vote per person, and a person means a human being not a forum account.
- If this forum will turn into a flame war cave, people posting here will act unreasonably and will break the rules on massive scale, forum will be closed down. So use it wisely.
- If you don't know a person suggested, it is better to find out who is s/he and what they do before voting, do not vote "no" just because you don't know someone.
- State EXACT player name that clearly identify a person (in game or on forums - precise which one it is).
- After a candidate receives required amount of votes, the poll is closed, a candidate reviewed by the TMW Committee and asked (or not - in case of valid objections) to become a GM.
- You need to have at least 10 posts to participate in the polls.

For those of you who did not see this one yet:
{edit} the earlier link WAS removed - but it was really just spam. The only reason for the link is that they claimed to be making the no votes to block Alons's nomination.
Sock puppeting really only harms the community in this case. Perhaps a review of the votes (to see if rule 16 is being broken) would help here, since 2 days ago he was consistently 80% yes to 20% no.
I will still keep my fingers crossed for Alons.

Yes, that poll got sock puppeted. After we fix the issue (changes in user registration are required), we will re-run the poll (the thread will stay).

Why not do an other polls? With only 1 vote by Ip, you can do that? I know who its not good to fo that only for him but... 80 yes... Its the first time no?
All want him, see in the game 'AlOnS for GM!' A lot of people say that.
But its strange.. I see only people who say 'I want him for GM' , 'AlOnS will be a perfect GM' etc... GM are for people who talk no? So the jealous people who dont speack maybe need to be less respected no?
It will be hard , look impossible to found the next vote, so do something, all here think who AlOnS will be a perfect GM...
