Children should be raised in spirit that they can do whatever they want with their bodies and their life, but some of those things are stupid and results in adequate consequences.

Parents are to raise their children and explain them what is good or bad, not the Internet, school, and surely not television.

If any children will start cutting themselves or doing other stupid things as they have seen on the Internet, they are stupid and/or raised in a bad way, so they should be processed into cat food, or donated to science (e. g. our anatomy or histology classes).
