Problem with my Character.

The other night my client (current windows official client) started copying my character across the screen and any other character that happened to walk by me. it looked like a snake. then the map went blank.

I thought I needed to log and decided try to log in again tonight.

Now All I get is the beginning login screen by no map. My character does show up on the screen and the status bars (heath, mana, exp) shows up fine, but the mouse cursor and the character leave the trail and I still do not see the map.

So I tried the 4144 patch and it had the same problem. I then proceeded to attempt it on my Debian laptop and the problem follows my Character.
I created a new character and it works ok.

The character I am having issues with is Miehas.

Is there something I need to do to fix this or is it on the server side. I can get screen shots if needed..

I've had this same thing happen to me when I cancelled updates. If a map uses tiles your client doesn't have, this seems to be the result.

Did you cancel updates at all?

Yes, please let the updates finish. If they do and you still have the problem, lets work out a time that we can both be on so one of us can debug it.

Poison, Thank you for your advice. I can see how this can cause issues, but I did not cancel the updates.

Also the issue happens on 2 different computer with 2 different operating systems on 2 different clients with 1 of those clients a new install after the issue happened.

Also the newly added character works fine on all 4 of these clients.

Jax when would be good for you? I can get to the windows computer at almost any time.
