Lol, Linux support is the last thing you have to worry about on this team
Love you.
I'm actually really glad that I heard from this game just a few days ago, can't wait till the beta arrives! Played it for those few days straight, and have to say, it feels pretty good. "This has still so much content missing", said me and went to to the forums looking for news about development. And oh my god. If you guys there really manage to do all those things you say, I'll raise my hat for you. If I ever win on lottery, high price donation is certain. Keep it up!
I was trying the account manager at testing.manasource.org, and it looks very nice... But the password recovery system didnt work for me. It showed Error Number: 8, attempt to write a readonly database.
Well, this current server is not going anywhere as long as people play it. As you can currently see, a lot of people are investing effort into bringing new content for it all the time.
The thing is: the two servers are not really related at all.
There is no doomsday, you will in the future just have more things to try out.

Key to success.
I don't see any reasons why people would leave because of re-building this game. IMO this game really needs it. Are we getting to experience beta somewhere in next month? No rush, of course.
