I agree with you, definitely. I used to find someone who is interested in this project and may represent me from time to time (I try to be online as often as possible). Your advantage is the size of the dev team.

Edit: What I need is someone who's able to administrate the web component and able to lead the development in my absence.

I have nothing to do with the dev team - as it is managed by Bjorn. If you don't have the time, you need to speak with whatever people you have with you, ask them whatever they would like to help with, and divide the power, that you are holding, between them, this is what I did, and it works fine.

Or you may adapt your art and e. g. integrate it with TMW, as it is GPL'd then you can start the project again when you have more time.

Regards.

Thanks Platyna for the good advices. The first point sounds good and it may be doable so far.

The point is that we used to create graphics which are completely different from the TMW content.

By the way, the forum categories are up now.

Yep, Avora is a a constant coming and going...on the basis of lacking disk space, the forums under http://forums.avora.org would run out of space soon.

So use http://avora.freeforums.org to post something.
It allows us to keep the old posts and accounts and we have unlimited disk space.

Since I'm almost done with this years exams, I will have more time to spend on it.

Thanks.

Just keep working. Whispers of Avalon looked to be dead several times and it now has a (somewhat unstable) test server up with all custom content.

Bjorn isn't part of TMW anymore. He leads Mana development.

Avora develops again. We are at an important point at the moment. The whole future game development depends on the backstory, so we got a collection of stories.

Which one do you like the most?

The arms still look a bit strange, but I have absolutely no idea how to fix that, that's the reason I posted it, I need some help from the professional pixel artists. Any suggestion how to go on or improve it?

Basically I'm just trying to get the outlines done, I will focus on shading and texturing later.

Flexing knee joints are a key characteristic of walking.

I have a feeling its going to look like shes rollerskating if you attempt to make a animated gif of it. The problem is that she's not really taking a step forward or picking up her leg.

Also a few of the frames have some pretty abrupt movements

I tried to let the knee looks flexing, it will look more realistic once the legs are correctly shaded. Also I changed the positions of the legs a little bit not to look like "a rollerskating" player.
