Pvp Wars

Post by Davius »

Because the forum does not have a Pvp wars section, I am dedication this topic to Pvp battles. Here, you can post pictures of your best pvp victories, embarrass your foes, show off your power, get challenged, etc...

Please post the date and time the victory (or loss if you like losing) was made, the screenshots, and a short description of your battle (I'm sure your enemy will post a correction if you lie about how you won, but don't do it anyway)

RULES:
1. You can post pictures of a friends victory, but only with their approval. They may want to post it themselves
2. No slandering, name calling, or other derogative acts against ANYONE who posts their winning, or those who lost. If you have to get back at someone, go in the game and kill them and post YOUR win.
3. No retouching of screenshots to make it look like you beat anyone. Take pride in actually killing someone (that's kind of gruesome!)
4. Please do not post pictures of yourself killing someone that is, like, 20 or 30 levels below you. A true winning is beating someone equal or better than yourself. (Which means Mr. Level 15 can post pictures of them having killed Mr. Level 60, but not the other way around. If your level difference is only like 1 or 5, it doesn't matter as much)
5. No pictures of anything but the person lying on the ground that you killed, or maybe one picture during the battle (I don't recommend taking screenshots DURING battle unless you want to be the one lying on the ground)
6. Only victories against other players are are to be posted; No monster winning pictures and/or posts are allowed.
7. More rules will come, I'm sure, as people think of wrong things to do.

Arphetic, I'm trying to run a good, clean topic here where people can have fun. But with all due respect, I don't think you need to break any of the rules because you win enough anyway. I hope you enjoy it here, and feel free to post your winnings.

P.S. Can some dev sticky this forum if they think it's a good idea? I actually think there should be a whole section for Pvp wars! :)

Nice thread iMHO ;)

Maybe several guilds should go there at once and try to get you out. That would be like being at Fort Alamo. :D

@arphetic You don't HAVE to do a documentary on every kill you make, just your favorite ones, where it was a great accomplishment or you beat alot of players or something interesting happened. Have fun!

@Bertram Thanks! I hope maybe you can have a whole Pvp wars forum section sometime.

Kind of a Zen thing..If no one cares, then there is no victory..If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear, does it make a sound?

I can assure you there are plenty of people whining about it, so the no1 caring is incorrect.

Thing is a fixed game is not a win, winning takes a risk..If you take no real risk, then you don't actully win. Play at even odds, then a win is actully worth something.

If I use cheats in Doom, then I don't win..I just waste time.

I am thinking what is needed is a tactical model for fighting, not just brute force. Something along the lines of a strategy game, but with varients that would add a little bite. perhaps like chess, with each player having certain traits that could be used in many ways. A leader would use each player in a tactical way. perhaps one player would have the ability to bounce back a spell, but the opposing leader would not know if they can or not. Once used, the counter spell would not be able to be used for a period of time. Also there woud be a limited amount of resources, that must be employed with thought rather than just used Indiscriminately.

I think this would make for a great spectacle for all the players.

Bets could be made on the outcome, perhaps an odds maker depending on the stats of each team.

Just my thoughts.
