Yes I think there should be some structured PvP but also free roaming chaotic PvP can be fun in its own ways too

Actually, from I've read, I would say that Katze and Acegi's ideas are the best ones and could even be combined.

Now, as a short term, solution, I'd say, remove PvP in that cave while creating another optional where people can dot it.

Less fun, but it gives some time to think about better, maybe.

Maybe Wombat or someone else has got better plans, though.

Blahblah... *optional* blabla *PvP* you cant shove an important part of the game aside ... If you could get rares inside the terranite cave, id say people would come and kick us out then... Like Acegi sorta says, PvP should be worth something, instead of working your way around it, recognize that it is an important part of the game...

I personally liked the idea of having the warp into the terranite cave itself, to a random location - instead of just to the entryway like it has been. That way players can go there to fight monsters, and not have to walk right past the *evil* PvP'rs. And those who wish to guard the cave will have to patrol a bit more vigilantly to get the *unauthorized* players out of the mines. Other than the terranites themselves (and only players lvl 80+ should have any reason to fight these), all other mobs are found elsewhere in the game. I would hope that someone lvl 80+ could defend themselves if they wanted to do so, or at least just hope to be left alone for a bit. Perhaps go in a group? Take a friendly mage to heal/protect you. And fighting (mobs) with friends is fun!

Overall, thanks devs for adding some controversy back into the game :D

Ok guys, as I have nothing better to do in game, i will try to organize a reaction to your "business" in the terranite mine.
I dont have too much time to play the game, but I am sure it will be fun to give you some small trouble. :mrgreen:

...That's exactly what I said many people don't like...

Further, one person who constantly fights the people controlling those mines pointed out to me that the whole thing is eventually about who has more resources for spells to kill the other. The fight will not stop until you don't have any stuff left to cast more killing spells on others. Or you need to give up cause you don't want to waste all your stuff on something that stupid.

...How much time and resources do people actually have left for killing terranites and getting the items?...

depends on the others . . . asorm provided, archers are most effective against mages. you give a warrior and asorm, and he's unstoppable until the asorm runs out. (but don't tell sug that last one, otherwise she won't have anything to Female dog, wolf, fox or otter about)
