Not my personal taste, but I had to comply with some "repetitive requests" at home ...
THE UNICORN SONG
I'm really found of the BlueGrass Mandoline intro,
although I can't tell if MadCamel was credited for his short appearances as a "Guest Artist" ... or not ....

Since I promised to ... (the charming medium-sized black-haired "K" Lady, you know ...) to behave as a good boy for the rest of the present day,
I had to drop my knees to the floor facing "Siouxie Sioux 2008 cover of a 1966 Nancy Sinatra's standard" :
"These Boots are made for walking" -(probably not the best sound, but the video part does the job for sure)
"These Boots are made for walking" -(better sound on that take)
First time I saw her in "flesh & bones"
she was in her twenties ... and still really "inspiring" now she entered her fifties !

Re: What song are you listening to right now?

- Said steam, steam, a hundred bad dreams
Going up to Harlem with a pistol in his jeans
A fifty-dollar bill inside a palladin's hat
And nobody's sure where Mr. Knickerbocker's at
PS :
To my eyes this song is a modern vision of Tantalus Agony ...
Tantalus stood in a pool of water beneath a fruit tree with low branches :
- whenever he reached for the fruit, the branches raised ...
- whenever he bent down to get a drink, the water receded ...
- over his head towers a threatening stone ...
- "Clap Hands" !!!

Re: What song are you listening to right now?
The sound of 6 hard drives being wiped by the hard drive wiping machine I built. The box uses an Asus P4P800 motherboard with 2GB of RAM. I put a couple of IDE ATA-133 controller cards in a couple of PCI slots and have hard drive trays that allow easy swaping of the drives. To get around needing a key for the trays I removed the wires from the lock and soldered them together for an always on state. The system boots from a CDROM with DBAN (Darik's Boot and Nuke). DBAN can handle as many drives as you throw at it. To get around master/slave I instruct everyone who uses it to jumper all the drives to cable select.
Whenever there's a bad hard drive it slows down the overwriting of all the drives. And it often sounds pretty bad -- like now.
So when it finished I opened up the hard drive and sure enough, what was happening was the magnetic arm had become so misaligned that it had cut a groove right into the hard drive. As soon as the arm slipped into the groove it got stuck and the motor couldn't move the arm out of the groove... and thus the groovy tune from the hard drive wiping machine...
(Note: I pulled 2 from the picture that were causing lots of noise)
