someone who dont want to be in a public hisself told me his story and asked me if i could tell it here

the story:

I was looking for an online game, and i found tmw... when i started on halloween events i thought this would be normal... everything was very fun... lvling was not easy i saw me forced to invest many hours into lvling cause someone told me that event would end... the slow lvling and the event pushed me stay here , i was interested in new stories i did all quests after a long time and was looking for new quests and events ... i was waiting for the next event that made me stay here that long time... i wasted many hours in waiting cause i didnt want to miss anything. i didnt realize that there nothing will follow or just very slow... i played until late in the night... i could not wake up, i missed many termins... i started to turn my mobilephone off... ignoring friends call... i didnt move and i got more fat...
when i turned my phone on again i had very much missed calls and messages... and i realized that many ppl tried to talk to me but i ignored them...now i left tmw and i feel much better! at the weekends and on special events like christmas i visit tmw ...i like tmw very much and i just try to set a warning!

after he told me i was completly shocked how fast that could happen! he didnt realized it !

I found TMW.. i started playing but now lvling is too hard so no i'm just socializing (instead of doing stupid stuff, huh lamb?). Now i even have got a girlfriend and i'm pretty happy...

So tmw just obsess weak people.. But it's still good

obessesion can hit everyone... as he told he didnt realize!!

i dont think that he was weak... maybe not experienced enough.

o, i would be careful. considering your "having" a "girlfriend", you seem rather weak and obsessed in just another, perhaps even more dangerous way than being obsessed by just a game.

perhaps some feel strong, treating others like nothingness, like pixels and losers, but they may better be careful suppressing their demons. they've got a live on it's own, deep under the grounds.. you know what i mean?

The game rules on RPGs make the player stay longer looking for a goal.
Achieve all the goals can take a long time and create an addictive behavior on player, but exceptions are always on.
If we are playing in a "ruled" world, then we will be free of rules when we can be able to control it all.

To free obsesed players, I suggest Install a local eAthena server, put yourself as GM with any level, any GP, any items...
In few minutes you will feel the boring "freedom" you are looking for.

-paroxetine, sertraline and fluoxetine can do more to help real obsesseds than our confusing words.
Obsession is characterized by repetitive behaviors or mental acts that the person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession, or according to rules that must be applied rigidly.
Rules are the main problem here (in gamming obsession)
