Help. Server help

Hi, I need some help on setting up a personal server. everthing goes well when i login to my server it works. but when i hit play it says cannot connect. please help

And you don't find it one bit embarrassing to ask such questions while calling yourself a "hacker"?

Never mind.

What server are you using eAthena or Manaserv?

What does the console output of your servers say? anything suspicious?

What's the address and port you are trying to connect to?

Hey about the hacker think. Please don't comment on that. We all struggle in places at times. and a "handle" doesn't really define if you are a hacker or not.


I compiled everything. Nothing suspicious. It all compiled good. I did get this error.

mmo_char_init: No character found in save/athena.txt.

We helped him with it on IRC. The issue was it was on a different machine but the IPs were for localhost.
