I wanna start learning C++.
I have gone on to different websites, but it seems like a wild goose chase downloading a bunch of stuff when they don't even tell me what the purpose of it is. I would like a book to throughly explain what is happening in the code... If there are any of those type books out there.
I have already had plenty of experience in HTML, CSS, RM2k, and PHP scripting/programming so I know I am ready to tackle a new language.
What programs/books would be ideal for a beginner?
I am very eager to get started!
A good C++ book?
