Problem with Tulimshar desert mine

I was not able to enter the mine, and when I tried talking to the guard next to the well there was no response.

Earlier in the game I was able to talk to the guard and enter the mine, and nearly finished the move 3 bags of stuff quest. However since I visited Hurnscald I was no longer able to talk to the guard. In fact if I tried talking to him and failed, I'm no longer able to talk to NPC (have not tried talking to other players).

Is this is bug or have I missed something I should have done?

Thank you for responding. In case no one else reported this, the miner inside the cave nearest the entrance can also cause this problem.

After I ran errand for the Lieutanent and was subsequently allowed into the cave, I was able to talk to the guard and checked up on the miners. He then told me I can go give the miners a hand. I then tried talking to the first miner again but this time there was no response, and thereafter I can't talk to any NPCs.

After starting the game again I was able to talk to all NPCs except the guard and the miners.

After restarting multiply times I'm finally able to complete the treasure quest in the Tulimshar desert mine. If you avatar suddenly stopped being able to talk to NPCs just terminate the TMW client, wait a while, and start up the client again.

BTW the item inside the treasure chest was not the short sword I expected - and the only reason I did that quest was to get the sword!
