Skills:

I'm a little bit new to this game and I'm still trying to figure out what the skills/jobs are all about. I have read that if you sell your soul you can get several skills, but I don't want to sell my soul... does this mean the skills/jobs do nothing?

I've poked around on the wiki... not much here, although a fews posts mention that there is info here. I wonder were it is?

Searching the posts don't yield much either after reading 10 of the most obvious hits. I'm not going to spend all day trying to find the right post, so I'm just going to ask.

What is up with skills/jobs?

Is there a FAQ on this or perhaps some general resource for TMW?

Only soulless characters have skills expect the basic skill at the moment.
