bug Pink flowers lose range

Hi everyone,

I like attacking stuff that will kill me, so I attack run away wait then attack again until it gets within range to hit it then try to run before it gets close enough to hit me.

Doing this with the pink flowers I found out that the range on them is broken. No idea how to fix it but figure I should post any way, in case there are more stationary monsters like it in the future. I do not know if this affects other monsters.

Step 1 Attack pink flower from above with one full space between you and pink flower
Step 1a note that the pink flower can hit you until you or it is dead.
Step 2 Attack pink flower, after successful hit move away from pink flower
Step 2a return to the pink flower from above and attack it with one full space between you and the pink flower.
Step 2b note pink flower no longer attacks back

end result if you can avoid/survive the first hit the pink flower will stop attacking you if you have the reach.

Fascinating. Confirmed this with client 0.5.0 in the yard by the Old Woman. Even more strange, the flower will not attack even if I leave the map and return.

This is a big deal for people who like to kill pink flowers with hit-and-run tactics.

I started having a bit of fun with it but with getting so many pink petals from Ishi I have no reason to bother with them any more.

They are pretty vicious to a low level character, but will not give them much benefit. Maybe it is even a feature, you know a training tool to teach them that they can run away from stuff still go back to attack it.
