I've done a small test. I used tiled and concrete walls tileset in the current version. Here are the results:

Yeah is starting to look very nice, but I suggest to change the path on the top. (If not already planned)

It looks so flat. I'd say add some shading or use another kind of terrain, something like big stones. Or just take these as references:

What I'd like to see mostly, is a slightly different color from the bricks, since ithey probably are made of different materials.

Here a floor texture i made once but couldn't really use. I thought it might fit quite well into this tileset.

I'd say not bad at all and yes probably adding more colors and shading would make it perfect.

It's very good that you improved the tileability. That makes the job of the mapper much easier.
