Happy 21st birthday to The Mana World.

The project was born sometime in early 2004, but we celebreate the 11th of April, the day it was registered on Sourceforge. Not a lot of games get to reach this age and still have a lovely community around them of people that understand what a special thing TMW has been for such a long time. Thanks to everyone who has played and/or contributed to The Mana World over the years.

Whether you're currently enjoying TMW or have memories of another time, take the chance here to show some appreciation for this wonderful game and its community.

Happy Birthday TMW. Its been amazing journery.

Somehow I've been with TMW over 3/4 of its existence. I've seen The Mana World without magic. It won my heart over many other things. Being relatively simplistic and "classic", TMW always managed to find its way on perilous road between hype and chaos of shiny but short living things and death of empty worlds. It what I loved about it.

I've became TMW's "village mage". Just because every interesting place should have its mage(s). TMW attracts interesting people who can enlighten and empower me, so tomorrow I'll be smarter than yesterday, able to do more things. Its what I like about it.

I would like to thank everyone involved in keeping TMW going all that time. Devs, admins, GMs, players and everyone else who made it happen. And... I think I got yet another way to thank ppl for being here. How about some treasure hunt? It set to happen "soon". It is a bit of event and a bit of quest. It never been in TMW before. And its my 1st serious attempt to script something relatively complicated, that would be like quest. More details on this will be posted soon. I advice to dwell in TMW around this weekend and so on, since few other ppl also got idea to play events to celebrate TMW birthday (example: viewtopic.php?t=21794). Hopefully we'll have interesting time together soon.
