First off... the following text isn't a complaint!
My impression is that the difference in DPS between a Warrior and a Mage is quite big. How is it possible for a level 90 Mage to generate more DPS than a Warrior around level 115? On top of that, they have the ability to use hundreds of summons as well as the Orb. When playing together, the Warrior really gets left in the dust. Sure, the Mage needs some kind of advantage since they can't take much damage, but does the gap have to be so huge? I believe this game—which I actually really enjoy, by the way—is designed for multiple players and classes to play together. Surely it should be possible to balance them a bit better. Okay, I’m not a programmer, so please take this as a question rather than a demand. The fact that Mages achieve high DPS rates even at lower levels is likely due to stat distribution; a Warrior has to allocate points to more attributes than a Mage does. I’d like to open this topic up for discussion... I look forward to hearing the pros and cons or just your thoughts on the matter. ![]()

Balance of the various classes.
Re: Balance of the various classes.
My experience is mostly solo but even at 75 I agree my Mage gets away with too much. As you said, he's only dependent on one stat. He also doesn't need to worry about accuracy at all while he fights from long range... I guess it's supposed to be "balanced" by the item cost of spells, but that really isn't very limiting... I will note that I feel like summons are useless - or even detrimental - unless you do have hundreds, so they take time to ramp up and feel bad to use casually (to me, at least). I don't have extreme DPS yet, which for a Mage I think is more reliant on items than it is on level (items like Magic Ring, Phylactery, Dark Talisman, or the Staff all seem insane for Mage DPS), but I'm able to fight almost anything 1v1 if I want to spend the time on it.
On the other side of the fence, my highest Warrior at this point is only 56 but she has to worry about Crits, Accuracy, and Defence as well as dealing damage... Everything's either an easy fight or borderline impossible and it's mostly based on whether or not she can reliably land hits... damage becomes a third priority by necessity as she needs to be able to land hits and survive retaliation.. So it's not surprising the Mage is doing more damage!
Maybe instead of changing numbers we could reward taking damage? As I understand it loot and xp is currently distributed based on just the total damage dealt, so if you took 75% of the monster's HP you get 75% of the xp when it dies... This system rewards whoever can pump out damage the fastest.
What if the monster also tracked the number of hits it deals out, so if most of the monster's attacks hit you then that increases your share of xp and/or loot? That way we could reward the Warrior for being durable without re-doing all the stats.
Re: Balance of the various classes.
The reason is that mobs don't attack summons. Fix that and mages being OP get fixed, too.
even at lower levels is likely due to stat
no, because 99 max and it takes a while before you can get lazu boost and astral to lvl9 (lvl 60)

It’s not just about XP and drops. As a tank, you should be able to hold the monsters' attention (aggro). But even after landing a few initial hits, a mage only needs a couple of attacks to draw the mobs' attention to themselves. The result? The warrior (tank) has to chase after the monster to protect the mage. The way I see it, a tank ought to be able to hold aggro without having to run after the monster. It’s annoying.
Wouldn't it be possible to add an ability exclusively for Warrior class (tanks) ? Something similar to the spell for Mages,(Itenpls), but with a limited area of effect—perhaps a 3-to-4-tile radius. Wouldn't that solve part of the issue and also turn a tank into a real tank?
