Automatically Banned

Seemed that when I logged on I was automatically banned. This also happened when I made a new account. Could someone please unban me.

Pretty much exactly what mine said. It only happened when I spoke. The Blacklord2 character was mine, to test it.

I am another victim but don't know why. I collected 10 snake skins, traded them for a pair of chaps, said "Woohoo" and was banned. Well, and I never played with a second character and obeyed the language rules - most of the time... So what happened?

The server keeps on saying I was banned for 5 minutes. That was about 20 minutes ago. Could someone please unban me?

I was killing some Bats, all was going well until I got really laggy, so I stopped and commented about it, then got banned for no reason at all... It happened right after I spoke about 20 minutes ago!

EDIT: And it still says I'm banned for '5' minutes!

I highly doubt this is the beginning of the wipe, but for now, just don't talk until we get this all figured out. You can still use smileys!

When/If I get unbanned I'll test out the talking and report, though it may only work in special conditions or something.

The problem is being looked into. (We are aware of what we think the problem is)

Just hold tight, normal service will resume once it has been fixed.

It is not the start of any such wipe.
If your account has been banned due to this you'll find you're banned for 1 hour.

The problem has now been fixed, thanks to Peavey.
