i think it is in GMT
anyway things like the golden armor auction or clans's events are always announced in GMT
CEST isalso used alot

The times next to chat messages are GMT/UTC, but the server is in CET.
The golden armor auction was in CET, which lead to some confusion.

You can see server's time by issuing the @date command. And it is CEST.

Hmm, wouldn't you expect the time of the chat messages to be local time? I'm not sure if it's easy to fix that though.

How about a window in the client that shows the local time and the server time? A single sync during the login process is all that'd be needed. It could also have a configurable alarm so you know when you need to quit playing
