I am also kinda curious why it says "server.themanaworld.org whispers", now. When before it just said it without that.

@Habari it does that because it's notifying you when it's daytime, and night time. Put @time in the chat box, it will tell you in there how game time is measured. So when it says "The day has arrived", it is informing you that it's daytime. :)
In game I am Xaru
On forums I am Superkoop
IRL I am John

It's an eAthena feature we could configure off. Which we should configure off.

On RO it also causes your screen to have the darkness overlay when it is nighttime. Useless, unnecessary and ultimately annoying as hell.

I would find it a nice addition rather then useless. Creates some depth to the world. Maybe we could in the long run also have features like stronger monsters by night, or a ghost that spawns once every night at the graveyard and stuff like that.
In game characters: "5t3v3" and "L "

We are not talking about TMW here, we are talking about eAthena.

Really? I find it quite nice to have an indication of the passing of 'game time'.

I think eAthena's built-in day/night cycle and weather it should be used by TMW. But thats just a rough guess.

Didn't know eA had weather code written in.
