[WIP] New santa and rudolph monsters?

Post by Haay » 16 Oct 2008, 18:08

The amount of different slimes irks me so I have decided to try to replace them with something else.

They might still need some cleaning...

Are they worth animating now?

It looks a bit too on the violet side now. It kind of looks like it is artificially lit via light bulb.
Lazy bum.

Ooh, yet another pixel aspirant.

Welcome aboard. So far you've gotten the grasp of shapes. From there you should try to grasp shading and texturing and eventually animation.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yes, I know that I can't really shade yet but when I have done, redone, re-redone, thrown my computer out of the window three times and redone them again, I hope I have a sufficiently well shaded sprite to show.

:)

Better, worse?
Stronger shading, perhaps? Colours?

Edit: I will start with darker branches...

I think it'd be a lot easier to put in stuff and details if you made the snowman for example 4x8 tiles. It also helps people help you with your technique.
