I think i've been banned but i don't know why. My character has been deleted completely and i will have to start again.

OK. well, I'll be more careful in future and try to pay more attention to the chat bar just in case

The game masters don't delete characters for botting.
They usually ban the whole account (you will receive a message when you log in stating that you are banned. On older version it will erronously tell you it is for 5 minutes which is certainly the wrong amount of time) or give you the option to reset the character to level 1 without any items.
1. Are you really sure your character is deleted? Please press the "Next" button on the char select window a few times. Maybe the character will appear.
2. Did you give your password to someone else? Is your password easy to guess for people who know you well?

Nope, it's definitely completely deleted. My password is secret and not easy to guess either. It's ok though, i've created a new character now. Thanks for your help and advice. xx
