Post by MasterKenobi »

Yabba has been permanently banned for botting. A reset is possible if requested.

Hey Master Kenobi. I didn't read the message properly first when you banned me as I was very tired and, to be honest, quite glad I had the choice to go to sleep made for me. But I thought it was only for 24 hours. Woke up this morning and read it properly! It was quite late and I didn't have the chat window open at the time as there had been some idiot saying I BUY MASK HOW MUCH YOU WANT over and over and over again. Is there any need? Really?? Say it once, NOT in caps, sure. Maybe even twice if there's a gap between them, but not a hundred times for god sake! Grrrr. Anyway. Enough of a rant. Would you be able to let me back in please? I'd like to get back to levelling up.

Even if you didn't have the chat window open, you can still see what people say above their heads.

I do know that, but if you hadn't noticed it can get a bit boring levelling just sat there killing red slimes. Who doesn't watch TV at the same time? Why is there an automatic assumption, in this forum, that anyone who doesn't reply within a couple of minutes is a bot? I can see why, in the game, GMs only give you a couple of minutes as they don't want to spend their whole day waiting for people to respond to them. However, just because someone does get banned doesn't mean that it's always right. Everyone is fallible.

After talking to Yabba in game I have unbanned Yabba and cut his levels by half.

I also advised him to use the clients ignore functionality and that watching TV is not a valid excuse for not responding.

(I can't mark this topic as solved sorry.)
