what rules can be broken and which ones cant?

Post by Anna »

Seems to me that there are GM's in this game to be the police to make sure that the rules are followed. If certian rules are broken, they get banned. BUT, other rules are left to be broken with warnings all the time. Can someone please tell me which rules cant be broken and which rule you can break and get away with. I would think if there were rules in place, they should ALL be inforced.

Well how many does the game even have? 5?

Edit:

1. Do not abuse other players (it means insults, swearing etc. directed to a particular person/s). - This one is often broken without any consequence. Lots of times they "talk to the player".

2. No bots (and by botting I mean ANY AFK activity in game). - GM's do a pretty good job on this.

3. No spamming/flooding (including trade spam). - See rule #1.

4. No begging. - Is this one even enforced?

5. Speak English on public chat. - See rule #4.

What about..

No Scamming
No Hacking
No Abusing Bugs

Lots of these may be hard to prove, but they can still be set rules. Seeing them in writing can often influence players not to do them.

So in other words, Botting is the only rule that is inforced, except for character names that no one likes?

Player Etiquette is created by the players without GM or Dev intervention. The precedent for why the rules were created was because of botting, not the rules of player etiquette, which are community driven. We can have allies and enemies in the game.

The purpose of rule 1. is to prevent excessive abuses. With the ignore feature available, most all abuses can be overcome by "right click -> ignore [player name]" or leaving the screen.

Rule 2. is the botting rule. The GMs do a good job almost all of the time from what I can tell in singling out botters.

Rule 3. is handled by an auto-ban most of the time. Othertimes, players can put the character on "ignore" like any other abuses.

Rule 4. is begging and can be handled by putting the player on "ignore".

Rule 5. is speak English in public chat. "Ignoring" or leaving can handle this problem rather efficiently.

Rule 6. Treat others how you like to be treated. This is handled by making alliances and friendships with other players and declaring other players either your enemy or by ignoring them.
Current character is "Abolish".

I guess so..

Maybe change the rules to:

1. No Botting. (Basically no AFK activity.)

2. Provoke others to get them banned. Especially if a group of people don't agree with the other person's name/actions. (Basically gang up to get something done in anyway necessary.)

First of all, THIS IS NOT A DISCUSSION FORUM!!

Second, all of the rules must be followed. If you have an instance of someone breaking the rules, this is the place to report it.

This is not the place to start a discussion.
