I'm running Ubuntu 8.10, and TMW version 0.0.28.1
It only has been happening when I'm around other players; here is the console output:
Code: Select all
tmw: ../common/dri_bufmgr_fake.c:982: dri_fake_emit_reloc: Assertion `target_fake->is_static || target_fake->size_accounted' failed.
tmw.log is attached.

Reading a bit of the quote from the terminal, I believe it may be due a fail with the resources, as you don't having some file, and the client closes. Maybe removing the ~/.tmw folder might help, but that would make you to lose all your configs, etc. Which is not important, but you may feel better deleting only the "updates" folder, and try to get the client to download everything again.

We really should code in catches for file missing errors.
This message used to be meaningful.

Uhm, we do handle missing files somewhat gracefully (they show as "Error" in the game).
This seem to be more like a problem in your DRI driver. Try disabling OpenGL.
