Isn't that a bit annoying, if you start playing on a different server and have to start from scratch?

On the other side... if you had only one centralised server, all the good names for characters would be taken really, really fast :). Soon you'd have to use Dracoine_06 :P.
I don't know of any game that stores characters in such a way. Personally, I think it's no worth it. Start playing in one server, and stay on it :?.

Code: Select all

System.out.println("Java Developer");
echo 'Powered by Debian GNU/Linux'

Actually I think is really sensible. Imagine that you are level 40 in a server, and someone creates a different server with different content, do you think is fair for everyone that someone who just had connected for first time starts at level 40? I don't think it is.

server administrators got many posibilities to make leveling on their server easier or harder. would it be fair to level your character on a very easy server and then switch to a very hard one and kick ass?

then server admins could also create custom contend like new skills or items. how do you want to convert those from one server to another?

but server administrators could of course offer a manual character migration service for players of similar servers when they think that it won't hurt their community. like the european ragnarok online did for the players of the international ragnarok.
