Sorry had to do it, one of my favs of all time. And just made an edit to the rules, which is to PM me so it doesn't spoil it for others. Anyways I guess i'll do a new one.

Nice touch with the "reply with PMs", it allows you to give prizes to more than 1 people. When you announce the winners, do give out the answer too so people don't infinitely try to answer the previous riddles. Editing the post in question should be a fine approach.
Also if you're into riddles, why not try to make TMW themed ones yourself?

Alright i'll do that. Riddle #2 is up. 
And i'll try to come up with some TMW themed ones. Coming up with riddles isn't easy unless you just replace old riddles with things that have to do with TMW.
Btw the answer to Riddle #1 was a block of ice.
Police arrived at the scene of the crime where apparently a man hung himself.
However there was no windows or anything he could have stood on, no tables, chairs, etc. Just a rope hanging from the ceiling and a puddle of water.
How did he hang himself?

Riddle #3 is up.
The answer to riddle #2 was that the statement he gave was that the judge would sentence him to six years in prison.
A criminal was to be sentenced and the judge told him he could make a statement. If it was a true statement he would be sentenced to 4 years. If it was a false statement he was to be sentenced for 6 years. What was his statement?
The winner was Dean Ween, but he did not want the prize, so it goes to the 2nd winner which was Feline Monstrosity.

1. A detective found a dead man sitting at his desk with a gun in his hand and a tape recorder was on his desk... the detective came in and picked up the tape recorder and pressed the play button... he heard "I am sick of my life. I have no purpose to live." and then a gunshot.
The detective instantly knew it was murder, not suicide. How?
Didn't have to rewind it.
2. Tom and his younger sister were fighting. Their mother was tired of the fighting and decided to punish them by making them stand on the same piece of newspaper in such a way that they couldn't touch each other.
How did she accomplish this?
Under a door.
3. Two fathers and two sons spent their day fishing and each caught a fish.
How come they arrived home with just three fishes?
Grandfather, Father, and Son.

His wife died in childbirth, the child was the stranger.
