Why was I banned?

I was jut in a conversation with MightyDefiant and had a moment of lag in the course of our conversation. When I thought it cleared I got a popup saying I was banned for spamming or something and I should contact a GM.

Do you know what happened and can this be lifted?

Thanks for pointing those out. Wow. This really sucks. I vote for having GM's again. I don't know what the reason was for the ban on GM's but I never saw any problem with GM's. Quite the contrary.

I understand the need for having a ban policy, but having to wait because you were banned due to a technical glitch is rather a pain.

The ban was always temporary. Spam bans are only an hour (occasionally more; we haven't been able to figure out why).

I was wondering why you disappeared. But when I checked the GM log and saw the ban for spam entry, I did have a little laugh. But since it was late, I went to sleep anyway. And sorry you had to learn the hard way.
