Oh-- so would that make the standard headband the highest defense? It says +3 in it's description but when I equip/unequip it it adds/removes 10 from defense in stats.

Configure got me on that, so I installed v0.5.0. Error happens still, during make. Maybe I'll try installing guichan from source rather than RPM. I'll let you know...
