[REQ] Graphics for sleepy people
Hi everyone, I would like to request the following set of graphics: A sleeping bag item icon (32x32 pixels) An animation that indicates that a player character is sleeping (e.g., a `Zzzzz' thing) A spritesheet (or two spritesheets, male/female, if needed) for a blindfold, covering the players' eyes....

Re: Archers need some Love
Hi,
we're working on a rebalancing update and haven't forgotten about archers.

Re: [WIP] Finishing the playerset
Hi, I'd vote against a specific two-handed attack animation (recall that each new sprite requires all existing equipment sprites to be updated with the current implementation approach to sprites.) I would like to request spellcasting animations instead, but only after the one-hand swing attack is do...

Re: [WIP] Archer NPC
Hi, any further progress on the archer? The most recent sprite is mostly solid (except for the bow outline and the clothes' shading), but the pose isn't very exciting. It doesn't have to be as fancy as Don's knight pose, but some slight variation as in the following might make it more exciting alrea...

Who is mapping D4?
Hi, I was recently told that someone was working on mapping D4 from http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Image:Area_argaes_raster.jpg . However, no-one could tell me who that someone was. If there still is someone, please speak up! (I have found a player who would be interested in mapping it, othe...

Re: [REQ] NPC graphics
Don,
great design!
The lance doesn't look properly metaly, though. Perhaps you can shift the reflection a little and make it reflect some sky-blue? (Or whatever colour the Mana World sky is...)

Re: [REQ] Archer NPC
Hi, overall I like this new one, however: The clothing and the bow handling are a bit too neat/grid-like (as pointed out earlier). Perhaps you could tilt the cap and the bow a little? Or add traces of hair underneath the cap? The left arm looks thin and a bit odd. It is, however, the only thing that...

Re: [REQ] Archer NPC
Gouki, good start, actually! But the quiver melts into the shoulder pads a bit too much. Also, a higher contrast for the fletching would help identify the arrows. And please shift the arms a little before adding the bow; there is absolutely no requirement for NPCs to be dressed-up versions of the ma...

Gouki,
no worries, and thanks for checking!
So, anyone interested in pixelling one?

Re: [REQ] Archer NPC
Gouki,
I tried that, but I still don't see any. We have the bow maker and his apprentice, but that's not quite the same as an archer. Can you point me to the NPC graphics you have in mind, please?

Re: Delasia controled two characters
Hi,
I can see reviving being useful for bot testing. I don't see a reason for it being used for any other purpose, though (cf. my addendum to the proposed GM guidelines.)

[WIP] Archer NPC
Hi, we don't have any archer NPCs yet. I would therefore like to request an NPC (looking about as young as the normal player characters) of either gender who is identifiable as an archer by being equipped with a bow and arrows. Please try to vary the stance a little from the player spritesheet, if p...

Re: [REQ] NPC graphics
SpamMaster, The hair and shirt shading are fine now. :-) The shirt outline was a bit better in the first version, though; it looked a little more ragged around the upper torso area (just adding one or two more pixels there might do the trick. :-) I'm still not entirely happy with the greenback desig...

Re: No more self healing...wtf devs???
Hi, we've had a look at the numbers, and what we found points to a considerable need for balancing. This will likely affect all principal play styles. As suggested in this thread, healers have the hardest job right now. However, archers and primarily offensive magic users (which we've dubbed `warloc...
