It is true. There won't be any distinct classes in TMW. We believe that a class system limits the characters to a few common stereotypes and introduces balancing problems. In a sufficiently complex classless system, on the other hand, you have a lot more room for experimentation.
So we've decided to aim for a learning-by-system where everyone can learn everything but your atttribute distribution will influence what you are good at. So by distributing attributes characters will become inofficial pseudo-classes.
