Nitemares, PrettyKill, and Dark Water are married.
Re: Nitemares, PrettyKill, and Dark Water are married.
The current server software only supports a single spouse per character.

Oh really, 11 year olds have never heard of homosexuality? And why do you care anyway? "Duck" is a good word. I'm proud of being one4) Adding marriage to the game will encourage this kind of lame, pointless "3rd" marriage topix...
Also, words like "lesbian", "gay" and stuff... COME ON 11 YEAR OLDS PLAY THIS GAME TOO... (Gouki for example, he assumes that I'm Uber_Kalimero so he called me a "Duck" yesterday, funny ayeh?

Don't get married, ok?5) It's lame...
Re: Nitemares, PrettyKill, and Dark Water are married.
What I read that you want is for people to take marriage more seriously and not treat like a passing fad. Unfortunately you can't create code that will make people conform to any one set of morals or ethics. The devoice system is there because this is not Real Life and people do not stay with this game forever. The oldest couple in TMW is Purple and Katze (the first to get married) and they're still going strong. So personal relationships and any problems they have are not caused by the marriage system but by people. changing the system only changes the problems. So as far as I can see we are using a system the helps keep people from being abused and try to minimize the amount of useless posts that would swamp Dev about break ups. Being in Dev is about making a game. Fate gave you an opportunity to submit ideas and offer how you would set up a proper game marriage system that is fair and open. Maybe even flesh out some content ideas. From what I read you seem more preoccupied with pointing out moral failures then helping to make a better game.

I've already said it multiple times and I say it again: Children should not be allowed to read anonymous communication on the internet. As a parent you should assume that any platform which allows people to publish unfiltered is rated "matures only" because the net is full of trolls, perverts and sickos and there is no way to keep them out of a community which allows anonymous registration.Viscous Viscera wrote:COME ON 11 YEAR OLDS PLAY THIS GAME TOO...

Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.
You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

4) No disucussion is pointless as long as the thread starter has new ideas. Because it shows that some people try to help development. I think that's a good thing. Even if some things will never appear ingame (I think polygamy will be one, sorry)
5) If it's lame, don't get married
----------------------------------
Now my two cents:
I think this ingame marriage is a very good thing. Because you can be more then an ingame friend. you can become a real life friend, or you really like the other person (behind the the pixels) very much. For example real life couples who play together.
I can only talk about how I feel about this but, when I married Kill3rZ it meant something for me. It was not "cool to be married ingame" or something like that. There was a person who I liked and who liked me so we decided to get married. I also know that some people really just walk around and ask everyone for marriage... But I think someone who says "yes" to such a guy... well own fault then...
And the item and money sharing stuff. I would not want that automatically everything is to share with the partner. It's like in real life in that case. I'd not wanna share my bank account with my partner for example. It is the fact that I decide what I wanna share, and what not. And to be honest I'd give my partner what he needs or asks for so what's the problem? You can open a mule and share the passwords, like Kill3rZ already mentioned.
btw I just had an idea while writing this lol
What about the normal storage and bank accounts PLUS the possibility to have a shared storage and bank account that comes up when you get married? Just an idea
cu ingame
